Deloitte National Leadership Conference
The Deloitte National Leadership Conference is a multi-day event for students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities and a keen interest in business/professional services. Students from several colleges and universities will be involved in workshops and activities geared towards bringing out their leadership, team-building, interpersonal and negotiation skills and potential. In addition, students will have numerous opportunities to network and interact with Deloitte professionals of all levels. We can guarantee that our conference will be one of the most exciting and rewarding learning experiences you will ever encounter outside of the classroom!

Mentor Program
The Mentor Program is a multi-session summer program for selected students that have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills combined with strong academic performance. Meetings will occur on weekday evenings which will allow students to participate in local summer internships elsewhere. All formal sessions will be held in a local Deloitte office. During these sessions, students will participate in workshops and team activities geared towards bringing out the leadership skills and potential of each participant. All participants will be assigned a mentor. Mentors will provide participants with general career and industry-related advice as well as insight into Deloitte. Throughout the program, participants will be formally evaluated. Based on these evaluations, an opportunity for future employment may be offered.

Qualifications:

Audit/Tax

  • Sophomore or Junior Level students (Class of 2015) studying business with a concentration in Accounting
  • Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.25 or equivalent)
  • Must meet minimum requirements to sit for CPA exam before beginning full-time employment
  • Keen interest in professional services and a career in business
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels

AERS-Advisory
  • Sophomore or Junior Level students (Class of 2015) studying business with a concentration in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Decision Sciences or Risk Management
  • Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.25 or equivalent)
  • Keen interest in professional services and a career in business
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
