Federal Analyst Summer Scholar, Strategy & Operations, Deloitte Consulting LLP

An internship role in our practice provides the opportunity to sharpen your analytical and business skills while working as part of a team committed to developing executable strategy and implementing meaningful solutions for Federal clients.
As a Federal Strategy & Operations Summer Scholar, you will have the opportunity to assist our clients in tackling complex business problems within the public sector. To provide all Federal Summer Scholars with a valuable summer experience, we will give each Scholar the opportunity to work on one to two client projects during the summer. In addition, each Summer Scholar will receive formal mentorship via seasoned Deloitte counselor to guide their development during the summer. The goal is to provide a valuable project experience to help our Summer Scholars explore their area(s) of interest.
We are seeking exceptional candidates who are currently attending one of a select number of colleges and universities. Our Federal practice has a diverse set of offerings to our clients and thus candidates from all academic majors are encouraged to apply. Some travel may be required; however most of our clients are located in and around the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Regardless of your experience, you must have a strong interest in supporting public sector and working with our Federal clients.
Successful candidates to the Federal S&O Summer Scholar program will possess the following:
• Currently completing an undergraduate degree
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong academic performance, 3.5 cumulative GPA or above is preferred
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership and team-building abilities
• Innovation and creativity
• Passion for public sector and federal clients
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to acquire U.S. Security Clearance
